bila anak gadis kita dah kawen.. uwaa!!!

Nah, Seperti yang ku janjikan dengan rakan-rakan sekalian.. (pok! macha tok nuan ka? hahaha), salah satu cerita yang pernah saya postkan.. kini kembali atas permintaan ramai, cewah.. seperti movie pulak.. nah layan lah..
.....................................................................  mari bermula ......................................................................
'Suami kami hebat!!'

Di surat khabar, iklan MAS berbunyi," Tiga kali sehari, tujuh hari seminggu..." uish!! ganas betul!!! patutlah lambat kirim surat!! haiz.... dunia.. dunia..

Leslie Nielsen - pelakon Mr Magoo dah mati, Uwaaa!!!!

The "Ghost" is on the street - the most powerful car ever produced

Hello there visitors, welcome to my blog, are you a car collecter? or simply love to try on different car? if you got lots of cash, so you might want to consider this, a brand new model by Rolls Royce Motor Cars (RRMC), The "Ghost". Personally I think it's the best car to present one's status (if you're an elite). Now let's see what's this car got.

THE modern "Ghost" is the most powerful car Rolls-Royce Motor Cars (RRMC) has ever produced. just look at it's feature, cool, sleek, and elegance.. just imagine how would it feel when you're on it's driver seat? ohh... below are the post that I've collected from several websites.

Top Range:
  • Arrives in an elegant, cosseting way some have described as being designed to lower the pulse, not      raise it.
  • The principle of simplicity extends to the act of driving the Ghost. The host of complex engineering software and technologies beneath the surface serve to make driving easier and more enjoyable — not intrude or confuse.but hey, it's the Ghost, so the name it self brings the feeling of "ohhh" and "ahh" to you, I suppose so.
  • The Ghost is more  driver-focused than any Rolls-Royce car before it.The driver sits in a slightly comfortable and elevated position behind the wheel, described as the authority position. This makes the view of the road much clearer. lets say you're driving Formula 1 Racing car, and the only person who're on the driving seat is you, and imagine how does it feel when you're in total control of your own ride? that's what I'm talking about.
  • Interior design — spacious and intuitive in layout. The controls are neatly sculpted, with the more important functions emphasised by accents of chrome. making its more exclusive and high class. if only my friends back in Unitar can see this. haha
  • The soft light of the instrument panel glows through the familiar     black-rimmed steering wheel which, in turn, employs a number of violin keys as well as an ergonomic roller-ball control.
  • The control centre display is concealed behind a veneered panel until its services are called upon. All features such as satellite navigation, telephone, communication and entertainment functions are displayed here and managed via a central rotary controller, flanked by quick-access buttons on the front centre console. if any of you watched "Knight Rider" series/movie before, you might get the idea the certain similarity what this car have compare to KITT. (Knight Industries Two/Three Thousand).
  • The optional driver assistance systems and technologies in the Ghost are notable for their discretion and ease of operation. From the moment the driver approaches the car, the optional comfort entry allows easy access, unlocking the doors when the key fob is within 1.5m and the cool chromed handle is grasped.

Total Control (As I've mention before)
  • Once you are in the car, voice control allows you to select from the control systems menus without using the central controller. one of the best features of The 'Ghost'.
  • For ease of maneuvering, cameras, located around the car, serve a number of purposes. Rear, front side and top view cameras can combine to give a fish-eye view at blind junctions or provide ground images with obstacle recognition and reverse path prediction when parking.
  • Positioned discreetly within the grille is a night vision camera. When activated, this safety feature works with pedestrian recognition to detect objects up to 300m away and display them on the central screen in the dash.
  • The car’s control system receives infrared heat images from the camera and, taking into account the car’s speed and direction, classifies them to assess imminent danger. It then determines what action, if any, needs to be taken and if necessary displays a warning to the driver.
  • The head-up display relays crucial information such as speed or navigation directions onto the windscreen directly in front of the driver. This information is visible only to the driver and can be tailored to show only the details required and at a position suitable to the driver.
  • Lane departure warning alerts the driver should the car start to drift out of its current lane. When activated, it uses an integrated camera, located just in front of the rear view mirror, to monitor road markings and the vehicle’s position.
  • The driver is warned by a discreet vibration through the steering wheel. If the driver uses the directional indicators before and after the lane change, the wheel will not vibrate.
  • High beam assistance automatically manages the operation of dipped and main beam lights while driving at night. When activated, the same camera used by the lane departure warning system monitors the light from any source at the front of the vehicle and automatically dips or raises the headlights accordingly.
  • Adaptive, directional headlights also improve illumination of the road ahead and adapt to the road conditions — rain or fog or simply when the car is making a turn.
  • Active Cruise Control with ‘Stop & Go’ creates a relaxing driving experience, particularly on long cruising journeys as action is not required when the car ahead speeds up or slows down even when coming to a standstill.
  • Active brake intervention also allows hill descent at a constant speed and the car’s curve speed limiter communicates with the car’s dynamic stability control systems to reduce speed on bends if safety and comfort may be compromised.

Attention to detail
  • Rolls-Royce has a reputation of producing cars that transcend the mere automotive. There is a magic attached to the name, which stems in part from exquisite attention to detail and the fine materials used throughout.
  • Passing through 60 pairs of hands, the production process involves over 2,000 individual operations and takes at least 20 days to complete.
  • The Ghost shares the same paint shop as the Phantom and spends seven days being painted and polished to perfection.
  • Five stages are required for the Ghost’s body. First, a phosphate electro-coat is applied to protect against corrosion, then a layer of primer, a colour coat and finally, two coats of clear lacquer. The body is hand-sanded between each layer and once the final coat is applied, it is hand-polished for five hours.
  • The Ghost is available in 12 exterior colours each of which can be contrasted by the optional Silver Satin bonnet.
  • Flawless leather is an absolute requirement for the interior of a Rolls-Royce. For this reason, the leather is sourced from bulls raised in pastures free of barbed wire, ensuring that there are fewer imperfections in the leather. Any other marks are carefully avoided by our skilled laser cutters.
  • At least eight hides are used for an interior, and to ensure colour consistency, each hide comes from a batch dyed at the same time. The hides are drum-dyed rather than painted, ensuring that the colour permeates right through the leather. The process also means the leather remains much more supple, preventing cracking or squeaking and ensuring durability and longevity.
  • All seats and interior panels are hand-stitched, using traditional upholstering techniques by those most skilled at their craft.
  • The natural beauty of the veneers in the Ghost is brought to life by the skill of dedicated craftsmen and women.
  • The natural burrs and grains are chosen for their intricacy and interest: veneer specialists choose only the finest logs from which these very thin cross sections are taken. Only veneer from one tree is used in any car.
  • This ensures not only that the grain matches throughout the interior but that each area ages and colours at the same pace. The parts are milled and sanded by hand before being coated with five layers of lacquer for protection and a mirror-like shine.

21st Century RR
  • The Ghost is a vision of simplicity — of taking the core values of Rolls-Royce and creating contemporary effortless luxury. It has been engineered to ride and drive in peerless fashion. The chassis poise delivers a dynamically engaging experience for the driver, yet a serene, comfortable ride for passengers.
  • Engine power is delivered in a manner which has become an engineering signature, seemingly effortlessly and endlessly. The latest in-car technology falls easily to hand while forming part of the background.
  • The Ghost embodies    21st-century Rolls-Royce: more than 100 years of engineering and design excellence expressed in modern and uncompromised style. Some of the optional gadgets are not available in some markets due to legal restrictions
  • What the design team were seeking to create was a modern Rolls-Royce that achieved a new dynamism but remained true to its luxurious heritage.
  • They had found inspiration in contemporary furniture, architecture and yachts but also in the spirit of the 1930s — that sense of adventure and endeavour     — which they wanted to capture in the character of this new car.
  • Chief executive officer Tom Purves said: “We expect the more informal design to broaden the appeal of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, attracting people who appreciate its fusion of refinement, new technology and contemporary style.
  • “It would ride on an intelligent air suspension system, offering peerless ride and dynamics. And it would be called Ghost which is one of the most revered names in automotive industry.
  • “It evokes images of adventure and technical innovation. The first cars to bear the Ghost name were known not only for impressive dependability and refinement but also great flair and style.”
  • The Ghost is powered by a brand new 6.6 litre twin-turbo charged V12 engine unique to the model, delivering 563 bhp with extraordinary performance figures.
  • Featuring direct injection, it produces 563bhp — enough to propel the Ghost from 0-60 mph in just 4.7 seconds and on to an electronically governed top speed of 155mph. With 780 Nm of torque available at just 1,500rpm, delivery of power is immediate and extremely smooth.
  • Power is transmitted through an eight-speed, shift-by-wire, automatic ZF gearbox. What this achieves is a feeling of endless, surging power, illustrated by the power reserve gauge on the fascia, replacing the more common rev counter.
  • The new power train delivers this performance while emitting just 317g-km of CO2. Fuel consumption is 20.8/ Mpg/13.6 l/100km.

Safety first
  • Safety remains paramount and the very latest technologies are used in the Ghost. Side-impact beams in the front and rear doors combine with progressive rear crumple zones to absorb impacts.
  • The Advanced Crash and Safety Management (ACSM) system takes measurements 2,000 times per second from sensors located around the vehicle.
  • The ACSM uses this information — in conjunction with the engine and chassis management systems — to judge which safety features to deploy in which areas in the event of an accident. If necessary, ACSM will activate, among other things, seatbelt        pre-tensioners and all encompassing airbags surrounding the cabin, creating a safe zone for all occupants.
  • Inside the Ghost, the interior design team has come up with a contemporary ambience while staying true to      Rolls-Royce Motor Car traditions of fine materials and peerless comfort.
  • There are elegant,     frosted lamps and chrome door handles, traditional violin key switches and eyeball air vents, frosted white dials and refined instrumentation. Deep-pile carpets can be complemented by optional lambs wool floor mats for a truly luxurious feel.
  • There are exterior colours to choose from — Adriatic Blue, Claret, Darkest Tungsten, Dark Indigo, Diamond Black, English White, Ensign Red, Jubilee Silver, Lunar Blue, Metropolitan Blue, New Sable and Sea Green.
  • Colours for leather — Black; Consort — Red, Creme light, Dark Spice, Fleet Blue, Moccasin, Pine Green and Seashell while the veneers may be Elm Cluster, Dark Wenge, Malabar, Piano Black and Walnut Burr.
  • The Rolls-Royce Ghost was formally launched to the world in September 2009.
Consumer Guide's Impressions of the 2010 Rolls-Royce Ghost
  •  Leave the chauffeur at home. A smaller, more driver-focused Rolls will soon court young high rollers with $350K to spend. It's not quite a "baby Phantom," but the new Ghost should take the Flying Lady mascot to more driveways than ever.

What We Know About the 2010 Rolls-Royce Ghost
  • Rolls-Royce sold just over 1,000 cars in 2007, the first four-figure annual tally in the firm's 104-year history. That surely delights parent BMW, which took charge of Rolls in 2003. But the Bavarian bosses see greater things for their celebrated English marque beyond its current trio of hulking $400K-plus Phantoms. Specifically, they want to boost Rolls sales closer to those of former stablemate Bentley, which now moves over 11,000 cars per year as part of the Volkswagen group. That suggests a somewhat smaller Rolls model that uses BMW hardware to sell just above the $200,000-$250,000 realm that has proven so lucrative for Bentley. It might be less sporty than a Bentley, but would tilt toward the same younger, very well-heeled buyers.

As for me..

  • if I were allowed to test drive for RRMC in this car, I would drive it on different roads condition to see how far does it go and I'l compare it with other luxury cars such as Lamborghini, Porche, and etc.. surely I'll be able to produce the best review then haha..

Travel to Malaysia - welcome to Miri, Sarawak (land of hornbill)

Welcome visitors, alright, let me do a lil bit intro on Miri; it is a small city in northern Sarawak on the Malaysian island of Borneo. It has a population of about 300,000. Malaysia's first oil well was drilled here in 1910, and petroleum has continued to drive the city's economy and development ever since.

Miri boasts a diversified population, which consists of Chinese, Malay, Iban, Bidayuh, Melanau, Kelabit, Lun Bawang and many other ethnic groups. International students from a foreign university campus based here and expatriates from international corporations add much spice to Miri as well.

Almost all locals speak a tiny smattering of English, along with Mandarin. The main language is the Bahasa Sarawak which is a local Sarawakian language; it is similiar to Malay but with local slang.

Now, if you wish to plan for a visit, there are several ways for you to travel which is;

By plane

Miri International Airport (MYY), which moved to a sparkling new facility in 2005, is a significant hub for central Borneo. From Peninsular Malaysia there are frequent flights from Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bahru on Malaysia Airlines and AirAsia . The airport is also connected to all major destinations in Malaysian Borneo, including Kuching and Kota Kinabalu.
  • To/From Kuala Lumpur: Malaysia Airlines flies four times daily between Kuala Lumpur and Miri, with two stopping over at Kuching. AirAsia also flies direct non-stop three times daily.
  • To/From Johor Bahru: AirAsia flies on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
  • To/From Kuching: Malaysia Airlines flies three flights daily and AirAsia has one flight daily.
  • To/From Kota Kinabalu: Malaysia Airline and AirAsia each have two flights daily. MASWings also puts on a Fokker flight on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
MASWings , which took over operations of the rural air service from FlyAsian Express on October 1, 2007, operates a web of flights to remote destinations in the interior, most notably Gunung Mulu National Park and Bario in the Kelabit Highlands. MASWings also links Miri with Limbang, Lawas and Labuan which will enable you to by-pass expensive Brunei. Go to their website to book flights on-line and check schedules.

By bus

  • To/From other Sarawak cities: Numerous bus companies such as Biaramas, Suria Bus Express and Borneo Highway Express link Miri with other Sarawak cities such as Kuching, Sibu and Bintulu. Most express buses depart from the Express Bus Terminal
  • To/From Brunei: As of April 2010, there are two direct services between Bandar Seri Begawan and Miri. PHLS Express operates a dedicated BSB-Miri service, leaving BSB at 8:15am, and the return service presumably early afternoon. Fare is $18 BSB to Miri. Note that this terminates at Tudan terminal, some distance north of BSB city centre, but with local bus connections. A new service, and not well patronized (3 backpackers, 0 locals on my day), so don't bet on it lasting. The other service is EVA Express, with buses from BSB to Kuching etc, which pass through Miri.
  • To/From Kota Kinabalu, Sabah: Bintang Jaya Express opened a new route from Miri to Kota Kinabalu (KK) and return in November 2008. The route originates from Pontianak in Indonesia to Kuching, Miri, Limbang, Lawas ending in KK Wawasan Bus Terminal. Bus departs Miri at 8.00AM on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The journey takes approximately 10 hours without changing buses. From KK the bus departs at 7.30AM on Tuesdays, Thursday and Saturdays.
  • To/From Niah Caves: Bas Suria departs from the Miri Express Bus Terminal to Batu Niah town regularly. The journey takes over an hour. From Batu Niah, you can either take a speedboat or walk to the Niah National Park headquarters at Pengkalan Batu.
Miri has variety of foods to offer ^^

Eating out is a Malaysian pastime, and the good folk of Miri are no exception. The offer is unlimited: food outlets range from fine dining, exotic foreign restaurants and bistros to roadside food stalls.
Western Dining
Many restaurants and cozy cafes serve western cuisine like steaks, fish and chips, a cup of espresso, or a full five-course dinner accompanied by fine wines.

Hawkers’ stalls: Day-and-night hawkers offer a unique dining experience at economical rates, ranging from as low as RM3.00 for a bowl of pasta to an elaborate RM8.00 plate of Hokkien Noodles with all the trimmings. Visitors should try spicy Nasi Lemak, a rice dish garnished with peanuts and anchovies, or any of the dozens of noodle dishes.
The drink of choice is ‘Teh tarik’, sweet milky tea dramatically poured from one jug into another. Food stalls with their plastic chairs and tables are easily recognisable, especially along North Yu Seng Road, Jalan Permaisuri, Taman Seroja, Taman Selera and at the Saberkas Commercial Centre.
Indian Food
‘Roti canai’ pancakes for breakfast, ‘Nasi briyani’ rice for lunch and ‘Mutton curry’ for dinner are commonly available in Miri.

Chinese Food
From cheap snacks in the coffee shop stalls to twelve-course dinners fit for an emperor, Miri has it all. The main cuisines represented here are Cantonese, Hokkien, Foochow and Hakka.

Korean, Japanese, Thai
The international hotels and a number of select restaurants offer these cuisines to discerning diners

And i encourage you once you arrive in Miri, you need to get "lost" and eventually you might found interesting place to visit and to dine as well!! (I always do that haha)

Place to visit? a lot!!
I always go to this place when I'm still kid

Get around the town either by using tourist bus/van or you can take taxi, places you should not miss out is Grand Old Lady, Taman Selera, Tamu Muhibah (this place kinda like mini bazaar), Tanjung Lobang, Esplanade Beach, San Ching Tian Temple (the largest taoist temple I've ever seen, check it out in internet), Lambir National Park, and many more!!

Hindus greet Christians on Advent

As I read the headlines on Malaysian Sun (online news), my eyes were caught by this news title and it's one of the good thing that shows we're 1Malaysia; by acknowledging the others, different races in a community would surely be able to live a happy life among each other and stay respecful as well.. below are the articles that I've quote and I want to share this with you.
"Hindus have sent greetings to Christian communities world over for Advent season.

Hindu statesman Rajan Zed, in a statement in Nevada (USA) today, expressed warmest greetings on the Advent season; wishing that it brought joy, peace, and blessings to all.

Rajan Zed, who is president of Universal Society of Hinduism, stressed that all religions should work together for a just and peaceful world. Dialogue would bring us mutual enrichment, he added.

Advent is the ecclesiastical season immediately before Christmas. In Western Christianity, it begins on the fourth Sunday prior to Christmas Day, which is November 28 this year. Christianity is the largest religion of the world, while Hinduism with about one billion adherents is the oldest and third largest. (ANI)"

Wawancara bersama Mark Zuckerberg: Pengasas FACEBOOK

The thing about a high tech world that offers so much to a fast moving culture is that anything is available on the go or at home. All you need is a movie membership to an online download site, and a computer, mobile phone, or tv. You just download the movies and watch them on your laptop, at work, or anywhere you travel-just like that.

Unlimited Full Movie Downloads!
Aside from watching movies at the airport, at home, or on the bus-you can have instant access to a variety of movie titles in seconds. Pirate Bay founders lose appeal against jail sentences

To those who always download illegaly (including me hehe), you might interested to read this news, it's about the trio, founder of The Pirate Bay website being sentence to jail due  to copyrights crime.. check it out..

Three founders of file-sharing website The Pirate Bay have lost their appeal against their jail sentences and fines for copyright crimes.

Fredrik Neij, Peter Sunde and Carl Lundstrom were found guilty of copyright crimes lat year. They were handed one-year jail sentences in Stockholm and ordered to pay £2.4million in damages to various record labels. They appealed, but now a Swedish appeals court has upheld the decision.

They had their sentences reduced to ten, eight and four months respectively but their fine has increased to £4.1million, reports Techwatch.co.uk. A fourth founder of the site, Gottfrid Svartholm Warg, was unable to attend the hearing yesterday (November 26) due to ill health.

The decision was welcomed by Frances Moore, CEO of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry, representing the music industry. “Today’s judgement confirms the illegality of The Pirate Bay and the seriousness of the crimes of those involved,” she said.

She added: "We now look to governments and ISPs to take note of this judgement, do the responsible thing and take the necessary steps to get The Pirate Bay shut down."

As of today (27) The Pirate Bay is still running at Thepiratebay.org

6 habits that will make you broke

Good day to you, my faithful readers, well today I'm going to share some info on "6 habits that will make you broke", the title itself may sounds negative and weird since there's probably no person would type such terms in Google except for me hahaha.. alright let us start, I'm Deideian, and I have been researching, browsing, and goggling through internet to find some tips and info about "money" and other temrs that may related to that, and finally I decided to write this; well I urge you to steady your laptop/PC and read carefully, perhaps this info can be useful to you someday..

1. Window shopping

It can be fun to browse the aisles and see what's out there. We all have our weak spots, like home goods, electronics or clothes -- even if you don't like to go to the mall. You don't even have to leave the house to window shop anymore; those catalogs, the Internet and commercials advertising the latest sale can be just as tempting.and I always do that in wherever and whenever I want to.. hehe.. but, yes there is "but", practicing
Window shopping is a bad financial habit that takes some discipline to break. Staying away from your favorite retailers and not requesting catalogs or e-mail updates from your favorite stores is a good place to start. Before buying that latest item you pine for, ask yourself two questions: Do I need it, and can I pay cash for it? If your answer to either or both is no, walk away.haven't you watch "Shoppaholic" movie? no? oh well..

2. Carrying lots of cash

You know that paying with plastic is bad, and what I mean by plactic is = Credit card or your ATM/Debit card.. aiyo.. but carrying lots of cash can be a bad habit too. Cash can give you the feeling of having extra -- fun money that's just sitting there.

Carry only enough cash for what you need, and leave the rest at home. Avoiding plastic is great, but budgeting is just as important when choosing to pay cash.
If you like the green (your money la!), try budgeting your cash with envelopes: one for groceries, one for entertainment, etc.

3. Saving your info with vendors

Those online shopping sites are so considerate to save your address and credit card information -- some even have one-click ordering buttons, so you can buy something in just a second. It's very easy and very dangerous. Not only does this easy shopping make you broke if you're prone to impulse shopping, it also eliminates the feeling of spending money, because all you do is click.and when you click, there's no way you can say "eh salah la kawan, tak jadi belilah".. hahaha
Don't allow vendors to store your credit card information. Avoid signing up for e-mails and catalogs if those tempt you to shop when you really shouldn't. It can be great to know about a sale, but if you didn't need anything, it's just another temptation.

4. Clipping coupons you don't need

We all feel the pinch in this tougher economy, especially when buying groceries. Clipping coupons is downright trendy today -- but is it really a good habit? Sure, getting 50 cents off that package of cookies or that brand-name detergent is a discount, but you may be surprised to find that your grocery bill isn't going down despite all your clipping.
The truth is that buying generic brands that are just as tasty is often cheaper; coupons can make us buy things we didn't plan for.

Start with a grocery list for the week, and then look at your clipped coupons. If you can use one, great, but try supermarket brands too for the best bottom line.for guys, get yourself a strict, nice and cute/pretty girlfriend, they can help you with your budget hahaha

5. Shopping with your emotions

It was a rough week, or a good one, or you want to reward yourself for losing a few pounds, so you go shopping. You earned that new dress, that new gadget, that big pie -- it was on sale, too. Letting your mood dictate your buying decisions is the quickest way to go broke.
Sober up before shopping. Do you need these items, and can you afford them? Be honest with yourself. Reward yourself by doing something that doesn't cost, like taking a nice bath, or spending time with loved ones.as for me, I always go to Bintang Plaza--> Popular bookstore for some leisure, and that "leisure" cost me money.. get it?

6. Not planning ahead

It's Tuesday, you're tired, and you have no idea what you'll make for dinner. A great night for takeout, right? Using data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, it's estimated that the average family of four spends more than RM4,000 per year on eating out (WHOA!)-- a very expensive habit that will make you broke in a hurry.
When you make your grocery list, make a menu for the week at the same time, so you always have ingredients for a meal. If your week is hectic, try cooking on Sunday and freezing meals for the week. Plan for lunches the same way; not only will you save money, you'll eat healthier by avoiding fatty restaurant food.

The bottom line

It takes some discipline to break these bad habits. With some planning, restraint, and avoiding tempting situations, you can break these habits -- and maybe even find you have a little extra cash at the end of the month.remember, It's not the Money that controls you, but it is You who controls the money.. farewell
